In Focus Summer Series: The Word
June 19th - July 24th, 2018
Come join us on Tuesday nights as we take a deeper look at how to study the Word of God, the Bible. Over six weeks, we will examine the differences between the biblical world and the contemporary world we live in. We will discuss ways to properly interpret the Bible in its intended context, as well as, ways to avoid common errors committed while reading and studying the Bible. Studying the Bible can be and should be exciting and enjoyable for all of us. After being equipped with the essential tools for understanding the Bible, your appreciation and understanding of the Bible will increase tremendously, along with your desire and passion for studying God’s Word. Bring your paper Bible and a journal for taking notes.
We invite you to bring your children to this class (rising 3rd graders and older)! Have them bring their Bible and a journal also.
Childcare is available for rising 2nd graders and younger.
If you have any questions please email our Care Pastor, Will Collins, at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Beginning and Connected - Membership Class
August 6th - November 12th, 2018
This group is reserved for those currently in the church membership process.
The Beginning is a helpful step for new disciples. During this five-session study, participants will explore the foundations of following Jesus and find answers to the kinds of questions all disciples ask, including:
-What does it mean to become a disciple of Jesus?
-How do I make Jesus the center of my life?
-How do I connect with God in a deep and personal way?
-What does my relationship with Jesus look like in community?
-How do I model Jesus in my everyday life?
After completing The Beginning, we will dive in to CONNECTED: My Life in the Church.
This study gives you biblical understanding of what it means to be a part of the body of Christ. It examines important connections like service, growth, and prayer.

The Collective 2018 - Ladies Event
August 10th, 2018
The Collective is a gathering for worship, teaching, and prayer. Hosted by the Ladies Ministry at In Focus Church, The Collective will meet five times in 2018 as an extension of all God is doing in and through In Focus Church.
We believe every lady is valuable, significant and loved by God. We know that God’s purpose and plan for each person on the planet is sure and dependable. No matter your age, background, status, where you have been or where you are going...YOU are welcome at The Collective. We want you to find a place to belong, rest, and grow with Jesus and one another.
We desire for The Collective to be a time where ladies will encounter God and His love, hear the truth of God and sense His grace, experience freedom in worship and fellowship, and enjoy building friendship with other ladies in our community
The Collective welcomes ladies high school age and older to attend. No registration is required.
Doors open at 6:30pm for fellowship.
Our desire is for all ladies to attend The Collective without hindrances and distractions. This is why we ask that no children or babies be brought in to this event. Thank you for complying with this request. However, if you are a single mom or the wife of a deployed spouse, we'd like to offer you childcare for this event. Please email Olivia Liebig at email@example.com for details.
The Arena 2018 - Men's Event
September 14th, 2018
The Arena is an opportunity for men to gather together in a relaxed setting to have fun, build relationships, and worship together.
We believe that all men have ‘fight’ in their hearts. It’s how we were made. The question is, what are we fighting for? A mercenary fights for his own benefit, but a warrior fights for a cause bigger than himself. We are called, as Christians, to be warriors for the sake of the Gospel.
Our hope is that while at The Arena, you will experience the depth of God’s love for you, as well as sense the urgency of the battle at hand for our own lives, our families, and our fellow brothers.
1 Timothy 6:11-12 says, "But you, O man of God, flee from these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made the good confession before many witnesses.”
Real Men Fight!
The Arena is open to all men, including high school juniors and seniors. Registration not required. Mark your calendar now! Doors open at 6:30 pm.
September 23rd, 2018
If you have started attending In Focus Church within the last three months, you are invited to our “Guest Lunch with the Staff” on Sunday, September 23, 2018, immediately following the last service of the morning. This will allow you the opportunity to meet the staff in a relaxed setting while enjoying a delicious, catered meal.
Lunch is free and a kid-friendly lunch will be served in the Kid's Wing for children in 5th grade and younger.
Please register your spouse and/or 6th grade and older children separately so we will have an accurate headcount for lunch. There's an opportunity to provide information on your 5th grade age and younger children during your registration, therefore a separate registration for them is not required.
ENCOUNTER 2018 - A Victory Weekend Experience

This 24 hour experience is a powerful time of teaching, worship, prayer and personal ministry.
Our desire at In Focus is that every church member would attend and participate in an ENCOUNTER weekend at some point. This event is a wonderful tool for anyone in their discipleship process. Please note, the deadline for registrations is Thursday, October 4 at noon.
